Launching a podcast (sorta)

I'm trying something new ... I've uploaded the individual audiobook chapters to Spotify as episodes of a podcast.

I've done this because I have very little control over how Audible markets and prices products. At $19.95 very few copies have been purchased.

This is a little disappointing, in part, because the process of creating an audiobook is arduous. It also requires very specific expertise. My professional collaborator, Tim Bodnar, did a wonderful job. (To be clear, I wrote this book; I did not narrate the audiobook.)

By placing the chapters on Spotify, you can listen to them as a podcast. It's free. I hope this is helpful.

I will say that the paperback is the definitive edition of the book. It is carefully formatted, and some of the material is far more useful on the printed page. Even the Kindle edition lacks some of this formatting.

If the "podcast" version of Open Hands is well-received, I might consider creating additional content.

We shall see where this adventure takes us! Your feedback, comments and reviews are appreciated!
